WELCOME
John and Mandy Young, located in Essex (UK), are International show judges and breeders. They have judged the Major Trophies at The Bull Terrier Club, as well as USA's major trophy Silverwood Trophy, and are both judging Crufts (in 2022 and 2023). In their time as breeders, they have bred and owned 21 champions including the breed record holder!

In 1982, they became the proud owners of their first Bull Terrier, a white daughter of Ch. Harda's Prince Hal. They bred her to Recoco Rindleader and, of course, as a result of this first litter, got the bug.

Later, they purchased Silver Geordie Girl of Bullyview, a Ghabar Crusader daughter, and bred her to Ghabar the Admiral, thus doubling up on Ghabar Crusader. This produced their first Champion, Ch Bullyview Gentle Breeze, winner of 11 CCs and runner-up in the 1990 Bitch Jug. They then bred their coloured bitch, Elsa's Pride, to Ghabar The Admiral, who obliged by siring their second Champion, the lovely red Ch Bullyview Flash Dance, winner of the 1991 Sandawana Trophy.

Next came the black brindle champion, Ch Crossguns Checkmate of Bullyview, runner-up in the Regent Trophy and winner of the Sandawana Trophy in 1993. Checkmate was John and Mandy's choice out of a litter of eight pups they helped to whelp by Ch Megavar Moderator (Local Hero) our of a Boco Be Good daughter.

Since becoming involved with the breed, John and Mandy have seen many improvements, among them better heads and, most importantly, better temperaments.
